Truly the best campsite!

Underline

Truly the best campsite! Each pitch has its own feel, and they’re all lovely little plots cut into the big meadows of wildflowers. We like to stay on nature’s way, as it’s so peaceful. James and Emma are the best, genuinely friendly and so helpful. Can’t recommend enough, it’ll be your new favourite place!

Seriously Impressed

Underline

Stayed here for the third time now, seriously impressed that this campsite is as good as it ever was, despite the pandemic. You almost feel as though you have the place to yourselves, such is the vastness of each pitch. Bathroom facilities are great too and kept very clean. Looking forward to coming back in 2022.

Birds and Bees campsite has inspired us to start camping again. The plots were huge and the clever layout meant we had privacy from other tents. Toilets were spotless and the showers clean and hot. The nicest campsite we have been to in a beautiful part of the world. Thank you

We’ve really loved our stay

Underline

We’ve really loved our stay at Birds and Bees for so many reasons! Beautiful peaceful location, loads of exploring for kids, with amazing facilities that have clearly been well thought out. Such a fantastic 3 days in the area and so close to lovely places for days out. James and Emma are such lovely, friendly and helpful hosts. We will definitely stay again and spread the word! Honestly is one of the best campsites I’ve stayed at!

Quiet back to basics camping with nice amenities.

Although you are in a field with just a few people, approx 4 per field you still have some fabulous toilets, washing and shower facilities just a 100 yards away. These are spotless and because so few can be on the site then you never wait. Owners were helpful and their if needed but also non fussy. Area is Lovely, pub 0.8 miles away with great food. Only 10 miles out to the coast and I say the nicest part of Suffolk rather than the same old in southwold. This does get booked up with a lot of people returning so don’t think you can book last minute and get in. The site is also very respectful of families etc so drunk and rowdy with loud music will not be allowed so if this is you then book elsewhere. Incredibly safe environment for children with lots to do around the site, all areas are accessible away from any cars. All in all a great visit and thanks to the owners for hanging onto that off grid feel, environmentally friendly as it can be but also offering the option of warm showers and a kitchen if you just can’t manage the hole wild thing!
