Coronavirus Provisions Guide

We’re all in this together and at Birds & Bees we’re really looking forward to welcoming you to our little place to try and shed those inevitable feelings of stress.

Life is a little different now though and with the aim of both keeping it stress free at Birds & Bees and helping to keep all of guests & staff safe we have put together the following Provisions Guide – This guide is in addition to our Campers Notes (Ts & Cs) which we ask you to agree with before booking and/or visiting with us.

We’ll also detail the extra measures we’ve put in place around the site to help reassure you of a safe and relaxing stay.  If you are not comfortable with any of this guide we’re more than happy to rearrange your stay anytime until the end of our 2021 season.

Some requests for our lovely guests

  • Social distancing must be observed between households with 2m space at all times.

  • Children to always be accompanied by an adult when away from your chosen pitch.

  • Hand sanitizer dispensers will be conveniently located around the site, please use them before and after touching areas used by other guests. This is in addition to hand washing facilities usually found in the toilets etc.

  • It goes without saying that you must not arrive on site with any contagious illness but if any member of your pitch develops symptoms related to the current pandemic you must return home as soon as possible, if this means your stay is cut short we will provide a credit for the remaining time for another visit at a later date.

  • If you are visiting us with friends or family from another household staying on separate pitches or you have booked 1 pitch for two households we must insist that you do not gather together on any part of the site, including your pitch. We have made provisions on our calendar to accommodate splitting households should you need an extra pitch, please call in advance to help smooth your arrival.

  • We have 3 shower rooms, only members of the same pitch may use the same room together, for this reason we will be making all of our toilet & shower facilities unisex for this season.

  • Try to use the facilities as a group from your pitch as this will ease the flow of the facilities, this includes the kitchen, outside fridges and recycle point.

  • Our lovely Honey Pot will be closed (honesty shop) but the Juniper Barn shop and cafe is open in Rendham

  • Firewood is still for sale on site, please check the wood shed for how to order via email.

Just a little extra fuss from all of us

    • Our pitches are already generously spaced and we have ensured that we have no more than an 80% occupancy at one time.
  • Reception will be closed for entry but we have made provisions to greet you at the Reception doors for check in & check out.
  • We’ve provided an extra fridge freezer and located both outside but undercover, spaced 2m apart. But there will be no kettle or microwave available this year.
  • Our facilities give us great pride and we will continue to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, in addition we will be wiping/disinfecting touch points through the site on a twice daily basis, these include:

Door Handles

Fridge Doors

Power Points

Firewood Buckets

  • The Tree Bog (composting Loo) will be closed this season, but water and an electric hook up will still be available at it’s location.
  • Although there won’t be toilet paper in the toilets we’ll provide you with a couple of rolls on check-in, it may be a good idea to bring some with you just in case.

Still like to come and stay?
